先行词是PERSON,用介词+WHOM.以上都是此形式,为什么选D呢?

应该选C,空白处在定语从句中做定语,修饰cover,也可以用：of which the,也可以说：the cover of which
知道为什么要用the吗?比如“书本的封面”是不是应该说：the cover of the book

常规应该选A,一般说来被修饰部分有only,最高级,very,everything,序数词等,人们常常用that,这个要填的关系词在定语从句中又是做主语,所以又不能省略.
顺便说一句,最后一题不应该用来考查学生,因为,上述规则只是一般情况,不是绝对的.
再问： 第二题为什么不可以用WHICH或者是WHOSE，它们的先行词不都是THING吗？？
再答： 上述第二题，就是要用whose啊，至于为什么不能用which，因为which一般是不做定语的
