Yesterday my calssmates and i went to the bookstore.at the counter, we notcied a foreigner asked a man, who definately had no idea about English by judged from his awkward face,for help.
请问这句话有什么不对的地方吗?
原意中文是想说:去图书馆的时候,看到在柜台一个老外用英语向售货员求救,但他一点也听不懂.
想用从句写得漂亮点,但总觉得特别别扭!!!

by judged from 是两个重复意思的短语
可以改为by judging 或者是judging from
