通货膨胀加剧会引起政府对利率的调控,因为通货膨胀是与物价水平挂钩,而物价水平是被有需求的消费者数量所决定的,政府如果提高利率,作为消费者应该会改变购买选择.菲利普斯曲线说明的是通货膨胀与失业之间的交替关系,根据菲利普斯曲线,通货膨胀率越高,失业率越低,失业率只有在经济增长被停止的时候才会提高,也就是说,只有经济被刺激,政府减少利率,增加投资与人民储蓄,然后才会有更多的市场闲置资源,在这种情况下,通货膨胀将会被减少.
in short term, increasing for inflation will lead to control of interest rate by government, because inflation is presented by price level. on the other hand, price level is determined by consumers demanded by productions in the marketing. if government let interest rate to be high, in the view of consumers, they will change the way the buy products. Phillips Curve indicates the relation between inflation rate and unemployment rate. according to that, the higher inflation rate, the less unemployment rate. raise of unemployment rate is only happened when economic growth is stopped. In other words, the greater economic growth, government reduces interest rate, and then stimulates investment and add to savings of consumers. under this case, many resources in the marketing would be free. consequently, inflation rate is reduced.
