whomever与whoever的区别

我觉得空缺处应该是whomever 而答案却给的是 whoever

本来这两个词是主格和宾格的区别但现代英语的发展趋势是宾格用得越来越少,只是在非用不可的情况下才用,如with whomever这种介词前置的情况下才用否则都是用主格来代替
