The earth is our only home, but what we have done makes it worse and worse. We cut down so many trees that a lot of farmland has changed into sand. The more we get from the earth, the more trouble we will face in the future. If animals and plants are gone, it will be time for man to come to his end.

6 Our school
Our school is one of the biggest middle schools in Beijng. It looks like a park because there are many tall trees, beautiful flowers and even a small lake in it. All the students live in the school. We have four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. We learn many interesting subjects, such as Chinese, math, English, history, computer and PE. After class we often have sports and take part in all kinds of activities, such as singing, dancing, drawing pictures and taking photos. We really have a good time at school. We love our school.

Everyone must have exams in his life. But somebody feels nervous, afraid, sad or angry when he does. I don’t think there is any need to worry about it.
Every morning we look into the mirror because we want to know what we look like. We have exams because we want to know how well we have studied. So exams are really part of our study. We can learn our lessons better and better only in this way.

English is one of the most important languages in the world. Now more and more people are learning English.
As a student, I have four classes a week. I enjoy English classes very much. In my spare time, I also watch English programs, sing English songs and talk to foreign students. With the help of English I have learned a lot.

There are many ways to fight pollution in the present word. One way is to reduce the amount of cars being produced. This would lead to less smog and decrease pollution. Another way is to plant more trees. This would increase the oxygen in the air and lead to a heathier environment. Three other ways to fight pollution: Disposing of trash properly, decreasing the use of pesticides, and always recycling water bottles.

My favourate sport is beach-run. Beach-run is a long distance running along the beach. I enjoy the sport because of three reasons. One is i like running.
