有关英语定语从句的问题
The school that he once studied in is very famous
=The school in which he once studied is very famous.
可以写The school where he once studies is very famous.in which不是等于where吗?
2.The house where I lived then years ago has been pulled down.
为什么live后没in.
3.where指地点,在定语从句中作地点状语.home才是地点状语呀!school,house不是名词吗?我有点搞不太懂了.

一般情况下,定语从句修饰先行词要紧随先行词之后.有时也可以分开成为分列式定语从句,还可以转移到主句之前.
