As a widely existing business form,family business plays an important role in the world economy.The core dominant position of family in the ownership and control of the business and its heritage are the keys to define family business.The main characteristics of the internal governance of family business can be described as close combination of ownership and operation,relationship-based governance,duality of incentive and binding,and paternalistic leadership,all of which provide family buisness with inherent competitive advantages such as lower cost,high cohesion,efficient decision-making and fast growth,etc.We should take a reasonable look on the features of the family business governance.
