Green Peace is a international non-governmental organizations engaged in environmental protection work,is headquartered in Amsterdam,the Netherlands.Greenpeace set up in Canada in 1971,and now has offices in 41 countries worldwide.When it started to use non-violent means to prevent the atmosphere and underground nuclear tests and known for the high seas whaling,and later became concerned about other environmental issues,including bottom trawling,global warming and genetic engineering.Greenpeace now has anti-whaling and anti-hunting seals activities.
